It’s been almost eight years since I left my beloved Barcelona and moved to Toronto. After finishing my master’s degree in Fashion, it felt like the right time to take off and explore the world. Staying in the same place, around the same people, just wasn’t for me.

Living in Toronto meant adapting to a faster, more ambitious rhythm, but I never let go of the Mediterranean way I was raised. That mindset stayed with me, and over time it changed how I looked at fashion and what I felt was missing. 

That’s where Besson comes in. It grew from the desire to share the best of the European way of living with the women I admire. Hard working, ambitious, smart, yet genuine, empathetic, curious. Women who choose calm and quality in a chaotic world. 🖤

I never wanted to create just a swimsuit. I wanted pieces you can actually live in. Something you wear to the beach, then throw on with a skirt or tailored pants and head to dinner or a meeting without overthinking it.

Everything is produced in Toronto in a responsible atelier, using high end Italian fabrics that feel good on the body and hold you without squeezing. I obsessed over the cut, the neckline, the back, how it fits in real life, not just on Instagram. They are meant to last, to be styled your way, and to come back with you every season.

More than anything, I want you to feel like you’re keeping a piece of the Mediterranean. Not loud. Not overdone. Just beautiful in a way that feels like you.
