Besson production began in downtown Toronto, where the first collection was developed and manufactured. Producing locally allowed us to work in small quantities, stay close to the process, and refine every detail as the brand took shape.

As the brand evolved, the next chapter brought us closer to home.

Through connections in the fashion industry, we were introduced to one of Barcelona's most experienced swimwear seamstresses, who, among her many projects, creates competition garments for synchronized swimming teams. It's work that demands remarkable precision, patience, and technical expertise, qualities that aligned perfectly with our vision for Besson.

Today, every Besson piece is made in a small atelier in Barcelona, where garments are still produced one piece at a time. Each design is laser cut, sewn, hand finished, and carefully inspected before becoming part of a collection.

Working this way takes more time, but it means we never lose sight of the details. Every piece receives the same level of care from the first cut to the final inspection.

Besson is produced in limited quantities by design, with small editions and, soon, made to order pieces because clothing should feel personal, not endlessly available.
