Besson production began in downtown Toronto, where the first collection was developed and manufactured. Producing locally allowed us to work in small quantities, stay close to the process, and refine every detail as the brand took shape. It also meant partnering with local makers in a city that takes ethical production and responsible business practices seriously.

As the brand evolved and demand from Europe grew, the next chapter brought us closer to home.

Through connections in the fashion industry, we were introduced to one of Barcelona's most experienced swimwear seamstresses who, among her many projects, creates competition garments for synchronized swimming teams. It's work that demands an extraordinary level of precision and attention to detail, qualities that aligned perfectly with our vision for Besson.

Every piece is laser cut individually and finished by hand. This slower, more deliberate approach allows us to oversee every detail from start to finish.

Besson is produced in limited quantities by design. Small production runs allow us to preserve the individuality of each collection and offer pieces that remain distinctive rather than widely available.
